Ventura County Medical Resource Foundation continues to support the medical needs of Ventura County’s diverse community in many ways: Medical equipment purchased today will be instrumental in saving the lives of hundreds of critically ill and premature infants.
Funding of student scholarships at VCMC Family Medicine Residency Program will launch careers in medicine. Children from low-income households will receive donated dental and vision care. Drug exposed children and infants who are at high risk will receive treatment. Underserved seniors will receive healthcare screening and prevention education.
Women undergoing cancer treatment learn how to confront challenges of family life and cancer. Minors at the Juvenile Facilities will receive dental care and prevention education. Women will be able to obtain exams aboard the Mobile Mammography Unit and sick children are treated in a safe and trusted medical environment at the Ventura County Medical Center--a hospital close to home.
