Through VCMRF’s efforts, families in Ventura County are stronger.
VCMRF has a reputation within the health care community as a proven support of the compassionate connection between caring and need. For over five decades it has supported medical equipment, research, specialists, programs and services at the Ventura County Medical Center, Ambulatory Care Clinics, Behavioral Health, Department of Public Health, the Ventura County Superior Courts, the Ventura County Probation Department and other agencies of the County.
The Ventura County Cancer Task Force and the Chronic Disease Symposium supported by VCMRF stimulated greater collaboration, cooperation and partnerships to educate the public and create new concepts and strategies to improve chronic disease and cancer care in Ventura County. VCMRF formed relationships between medical providers and social service agencies that are collaborating today on projects to decrease the incidence of chronic disease among the senior population and increase awareness of the importance of early detection of breast and cervical cancer services and screenings.
Here at VCMRF we depend on the generous support and active involvement of people like you, who care about the less fortunate in our community. Your donations have allowed us to provide investments in the health care system not paid for by the County of Ventura . Your contributions stay in Ventura County to provide an immediate benefit and long range community benefit to ensure our county has state-of-the art medical equipment, special services and programs to support the healthcare needs of Ventura County’s diverse families in many ways.
